北美亞裔共創會於日前在紐約舉行成立大會，來自美國工商界、政界600多位亞裔代表出席晚會。

北美亞裔共創會主席黃晟介紹說，該協會在紐約七都同鄉會會長翁信亮會發起、14位社區負責人共同組建，旨在凝聚亞裔力量，促進亞裔族群的向心力與共識；增進彼此相互了解，培養互助合作精神；傳承優秀的亞裔文化遺產；熱心公益事業和積極參與社會建設，提高亞裔精英的參政議政意識，鼓勵和支持亞裔參政等。

董事局主席張玉龍表示，共創會將以傳承、共享、創新、發展為使命，團結一致，為亞裔的共同利益與美好未來共創輝煌。首席主席兼監察長翁信亮發言時強調我們的未來就是凝聚力量，落地生根，融入主流，爭取亞裔的地位。

當晚舉行的《我們的未來》研討會由常務副主席夏文龍博士主持，主講嘉賓包括華裔、印度裔、東南亞裔等代表。市議員顧亞明、侯任市議員黃敏儀以及多位民代代表出席成立大會。

The North American Asian American Co-Foundation Association held its inaugural meeting in New York a few days ago. More than 600 Asian representatives from the business and political circles in the United States attended the party.

Huang Sheng, chairman of the North American Asian American Co-Founder Association, said that the association was initiated by Weng Xinliang, the president of the Qidu Hometown Association in New York, and was jointly established by 14 community leaders. To understand each other and cultivate the spirit of mutual assistance and cooperation; to inherit the outstanding Asian cultural heritage; to be enthusiastic about public welfare undertakings and to actively participate in social construction, to improve the awareness of Asian elites in participating in politics, and to encourage and support Asians to participate in politics, etc.

Zhang Yulong, chairman of the board of directors, said that the co-creation will take inheritance, sharing, innovation and development as the mission, and unite to create brilliance for the common interests and bright future of Asians. In his speech, Chief Chairman and Inspector General Weng Xinliang emphasized that our future is to gather strength, take root, integrate into the mainstream, and strive for the status of Asian Americans.

The “Our Future” seminar held that night was chaired by Executive Vice Chairman Dr. Xia Wenlong, and the speakers included representatives of Chinese, Indian and Southeast Asian descent. City Councilor Gu Yaming, elected City Councilor Huang Minyi and a number of representatives of the people’s representatives attended the inaugural meeting.
